Name|| Anna Smith
Age|| 15
Gender|| Female
Clique|| Strange
Personality|| Anna is a bubbly energetic, out-spoken, fun-loving girl who loves to be loved. She seems to be hyper about two thirds of the time and she seems to thrive on all things random. However she is very emotional and she can have very large, violent emotional outbursts because she keeps a lot of her feelings bottled up for a lot of the time. She spends a lot of her time with her friends and is very close to her half sister, Lottie.
Anna is one of those people who first impressions mean a lot to. If you mess up with your first impression that’s usually you stroked off her list for possible friends. She hates people who start being mean to her when they don’t even know her. She takes her friends very seriously and you have to be really serious about being her friend if you want into her life. She is also very serious about who she dates, she has to have known them for at least a week before she’ll say yes to them asking her out and that’s only if she can see sparks of romance.
However, Anna doesn’t care who she hangs out with. She’ll hang out with anyone but that doesn’t make them her friend, she has very strict views of what make someone your friend and that’s: common interests, interesting personality, fun to be around, someone she can share her feelings with. If you aren’t able to share your feelings you don’t have any hope of becoming her friend.

Past|| Anna was born on the 11th of January 1991; her parents were thrilled with her arrival. Everything was fine until 3 months later, Anna’s mother Sarah was found to be one month pregnant. Anna’s father Tim became angry because he realised that the baby wasn’t his own. When the baby (Lottie) was born on the 3rd of November 1992, Tim got a paternity test done on the newborn because despite his wife’s reassurance he didn’t believe that the baby was his daughter. The paternity test came back and the DNA was so closely matched at first glance Tim thought that she was his daughter after all but when he looked at it he realised that it said Mr Paul Smith.
Enraged Tim immediately called for a divorce, he didn’t want to be married to a woman who had slept with his brother. That was unthinkable. Poor Sarah was kicked out of the house with Lottie, she didn’t even ask for custody of Anna. She named Lottie Charlotte Sykes deciding against having her first husbands surname and using her maiden name. Sarah went on to marry Paul and they are still in a happy stable marriage, as far as Anna knows.
Anna was a perfectly happy, normal child until she was 11, when she realised that she was without a mother unlike everyone else she knew. She became a bit withdrawn and made a point of not talking to her father making her time at home very lonely and upsetting. She hated being at home. It was then that she began mixing with the crowd known as “rockers” at her school. These people were not a good influence on her. They got her into self-harm, drinking, smoking and drugs. She grew to hate her father more and more over the next two years until Tim decided to do something about it.
Tim sat Anna down one day and explained to her what had happened to make him and her mother spilt up. Anna was shocked she hadn’t been told of this before and instantly forgave her father; she said that she would have done the same thing had she been in Tim’s position. Her emotions then turned to excitement; she had a half sister. She insisted on meeting the mysterious Charlotte.
When Anna met Charlotte, the two girls instantly clicked. Although Lottie was 11 months younger than Anna they got on like they had known each other forever and that they were life long friends. Tim and Sarah never saw eye-to-eye and they both took different views on the situation. Sarah thought that she should get custody of both girls and Tim thought that the arrangements should stay the way they were because Anna didn’t know Sarah and it wasn’t fair.
When Anna was 14, her father remarried, it was all quite sudden for her because the introduction to Lilly was literally 3-month relationship then a wedding. There were real sparks between Tim and Lilly and Anna chose not to object, besides, Lilly seemed nice. Anna was happy with the arrangements of her life, she got to live with her dad and see her half sister. It all seemed perfect for her. She had even given up drugs and self-harm. Lottie had helped her past all that stuff.
Of course, perfection isn’t meant to last, at least not in Anna’s world. On the 12th of January 2006, Tim was involved in a horrific car accident that cost him his life. It had been the other driver’s fault; the other driver had been drinking before he went out for a drive. The funeral was held soon after and Anna spent 3 weeks off school before Lilly told her that she should go back, ‘the longer you wait the harder it gets’ she said.
Later that year Lilly sent Anna to Camp Springlake because she thought it was a good idea and it would help keep Anna’s mind off her father’s death. Anna has improved dramatically and makes a point of acting like she is over it but her close friend and Lilly all know that that is just a façade.
