The owners of Camp Springlake were originally German. The couple named all the dorms after colours and the colours were obviously in the owners' primary language: German. It has become a tradition that all the dorms are named after German colours and although the camp has expanded considerably since the first summer when it was 3 huts in the middle of a field, the dormitories have still remained with their original names and ever time a new dorm is built it gets a German name.
Camp Springlake is a camp for both boys and girls from any age within the range of 13-18. There are a lot of activites for the campers to do and a lot of interesting new people for you to meet. You can do whatever you want as long as you stay on the grounds and turn up for every meal. Who will you meet? What will you do? What will your summer be like? |
